Dr. Bentley Stephenson
Dr. Bentley Stephenson was born in Northampton County, NC, where he resided through his high school years. He developed a keen interest in animals at a very young age and decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. He attended N.C. State University (Go Wolfpack!) and graduated from the veterinary school in 1985. He traveled south to his first veterinary job in Pinehurst, N.C. After practicing in Pinehurst for three and half years, it was time to focus on a small-animal practice in Fayetteville, N.C.
Dr. Stephenson bought Reilly Road Animal Hospital on March 1, 1990; he also earned an MBA degree from Duke University in 1990. Since that time, Dr. Stephenson has enjoyed many years of treating his patients, and he looks forward to many more fulfilling years.
Dr. Stephenson has served on the board of the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association for the past six years and is also an officer for the North Carolina Companion Animal Academy. He enjoys spending his free time with family and friends. Dr. Stephenson also finds it relaxing to spend time outdoors, especially observing and filming wildlife.
